i assume this is for a ae86 or ae92.

in any case, the 7a block that pat is using has been fully rebuilt with new oem rods, pistons, rings, bearings, etc.

you'd be running a severe risk by using USED internals on a boosted application. you also need to consider that your flywheel will need modification.

both the big port and small port head are good for DIFFERENT power bands and applications. I would think that a small port would be the greatest for boost due to the amount of overlap the small ports would cause. contrastingly, small ports are ideal for streetable yet potent NA applications. THe big port on the other hand, is probably the best for crazy NA setups (like my now defunt 304 in/ex, oversized valved, high comp carbed setup). And of course a gze head would simply be the best for boosted applications.
