The 4 cyl is available with a manual and has been since the car was introduced to the US (or at the least since the early 80s). V6 stick shift died off. It's a shame. The whole thing is a self fullfilling prophecy: Does toyota not make the V6 manual because nobody buys em or is it that nobody buys em because toyota doesn't make em? They threw us a bone by at least offering a SE model --- but then they take away the stick. WTF?!!?!?
