Thanks for the reply celica/camry. So did everything hook right up without the need for splicing wires or modifying engine mounts etc ? I'm also concerned about hooking up the smog devices for the california smog nazzis.
That also brings me to another question, what about the replacement parts for this motor ? for e.g. if I wanted to put a new timing belt/waterpump misc seals on a 5AF before putting it in my car will the same parts and part#s from the 4AF will work ?
I was quoted $300 for a used 5A-F (in stock) and $400 for a reconditioned 4A-F (subject to availability).
