We were thinking that we could put a few dollars in the motor to make it fast to be would respect this little toyota.
My Ideas are:
- Build custom coldair intake (Might need differnt MAF) EST. $125
- Advance the timing to run on 92 octain (No idea)
- Header Pace Setter $175
- 2.5 inch pipe with Quiet High flow Muffler $300
Having no idea how to trick the computer into a catless exhaust and no idea to advance the timing so a custom tune is say what $300
So that makes $900 for what I would safely call 20 rwhp
Or.....
A 60 shot of nos $600 (dry would be nice)
These motors have Cast iron blocks and heads so what do that have for internals?
If there forged then this motor could be quite the performer, as long as the tranny holds together.
Any ideas?
(Dont ask why I want to make a camry fast, hopefully it will be so fast that no one can see how ugly it realy is.)

ARGGH This makes me so mad!
If i were to tell you what i thought right now, id be BANNED FROM TN!!!
In any case, theres no way you can get 20 "RW" hp from just what youve said. Yes, the car may respond and breathe better, but no way does it increase the power THAT much without something more major (at least on 3SFE anyways

).
Secondly, Gen 2's are NOT UGLY. YOUR UGLY.
Bye bye, have a nice life.
