07 Tundra Interior question

I've called the local dealer and talked to the manager and he said on the SR5 only beige and grey interior was available yet on the broceure and online build site say Black fabric is available - is this true or is the website wrong?

I would have to say that is wrong. It may not be available in your area yet, but there is a Slate Metallic DCAB SR5 on the lot up here with black interior!

I have seen several SR5's in Maryland with black fabric, I think you are getting a story.

My truck came with charcoal and silver two tone interior plastic pieces with some kind of dark cloth (I saw the seats they took out) though they were replaced with grey leather seats before purchase - same ones as in the limited - softcel leather is very nice. I have seen one other tundra with darl cloth - so why not in a TRD pck truck??

i called the "truck manager" again and told him that he was wrong and wanted to argue - so i guess i will be taking my business elsewhere - thank you guys for confirming he was wrong

i have the Timberland Mica (green) Dcab SR5 with the Black cloth interior..

biggest reason i got this particular Tundra was the interior..

i wanted the bright blue one but that beige interior just didnt do it for me..

In looking for the Tundra I wanted I learned a few things... dealers will tell you something isn't available or possible to try and get you to buy something that they have in stock. Also, beware of calling around and asking about a specific truck. I drove 30 minutes to a dealership once, after they said they had the truck with all the features I wanted. When I showed up the truck was the wrong color, not a longbed and not the bench seat. It wasn't the truck I asked them for and when I told them that they started saying ''OH well this one is really nice and the bench seat is not cool etc etc''. I was pissed.

I have the bright blue one and with grey interior. There was a silver one with black interior. I know of others with black interior. Some dealers will try to push what is on their lot vs. getting you what you want. Many have special ordered the exact features they want but have to wait. I bought mine off the lot, but it was the one I wanted. The first dealer I went to looked up every truck that was available, including one's that were not built yet, on his computer. So the salesman who said their was no black interior was feeding a very large pile of $#!^.
