You guys can keep your high prices. LOL Wal-Mart had it at 2.69 and 2.89 for super. The regular gas stations had it at 2.83 and super at 3.09 This is in Tennessee though.

I'm going to drive a tanker down there and steal your gas Actually, there are some places up here that you can buy gas per 1,000 gallons at a time and lock in at a specified $/gallon. Lots of farmers up this way do it, sometimes spending $15,000 (which will last quite some time). There's still people getting gas for $1.39/gallon (those smart bastards).

I'd pay more just to stay in Tennessee.

I'm almost convinced to trade in my 05 taco for an 07 Tundra

The Taco is just too small for me, but we've had a good run at 154000 kms in 22.5 months

I just hope it's true that the Tundra 5.7 with 6spd will get similar milage to the 4.0 with 5spd cause it sounds like you folks are getting about 19 to 20 on the highway which is about what I get in the taco, maybe 21 on a great day.

for 24" more truck bed and 4000 lbs more towing.........that's a great deal......

I don't even want to do the math right now to convert your gas prices to metric. but we have been at about 1 buck a litre, and now the cdn buck is like 4cents less than an american dollar and there are 4.4 litres in a gallon so we are paying more than they do in chicago apparently.

My second tank of gas improved over the first. I got 15.1 on the first and the second tank is 16.9 of mixed city and country driving and about 40 miles pulling my loaded horse trailer. Pretty good for a big old v8 with a 4.3 rear end.

If you do decide to convert, remember that you (in Canadia) use imperial gallons which is the 4.4 litres/imp. gal., whereas the US uses US gallons, with is 3.73litres/gal.

Australia Good mileage

I'm really impressed with the results so far, I have about 700 miles under her and the last fill up she averaged 17+ which is much better than I was getting out of my Titan. It's pretty close to our V8 four runner. She should improve when she's run in. Love the ride.

Today in Toronto the price is 3.70 canadian dollars per gallon

The dollar is at about .93 or .94 cents american today.

Hopefully I'll have a new Tundra this week and can add my own fuel mileage calculations to this thread.

Pulled my horsetrailer about 90 miles roundtrip Sunday. It got 11.5 mpg. Not great but okay considering the 9mpg I got with my Dakota.
