USA chipped paint 07 tundra

I found a small place on my new truck about the size of a bb,where the paint has chipped off. Another little spot next too it about the size of a grain of salt. What could have caused this? A rock that hit me on the road? The lazer wash? Will toyota pay for it to be fixed? You can't really see it and I'm not knocking Toyota, they make great cars and trucks, but it still sucks I spend 30k on a new truck ,less than 3,000 miles later I found a bad spot How should I approach the dealership with my problem, any ideas?

thanks

I'm guessing a rock or something from the road. Why would they be responsible for stuff that hits your truck as you drive it everyday??? Paint isn't bullet proof. The only thing I say is grab some touch up paint from them and touch it up. You could get this extra offering that I got from my dealership where they touch it up, apply this gel like a clear coat that hardens and they buff and polish it every 6 months for the next 5 years. It's called the Auto Butler.

I don't know about the Tundra's but...my 06 Corolla-S had very-very thin Black Metallic paint! Sure did look good but...the slighest thing would chip it.
Ohhhh, and the "exact factory touch-up" Toyota sells for $$$$ isn't black (metallic), just black.

I live in Sin City, and paint chips are an everyday occurance because after all, Vegas is in a middle of the desert. I get paint chips, glass chips, you name it. It sucks to drive in a city where half of the vehicles on the road seems to be rock hauler with no tarp covers.

Toyota sells excellent touch up paint. You should check with the service dept.

Thanks for the info guys, I will check with my the service guys and see what the say. How much do you think they would charge for a touch up job? I know I could not do it myself(I suck at stuff like that), but I don't want to get ripped off by the dealership either. There are some guys at church that run a body shop and they would give me a good deal, but they are Chevy guys and they would give me hell about from know till forever,bc they believe that Chevy's are built in Heaven by God himself and they have no problems what so ever and that there paint is perfect etc etc. Paint anymore is the same on all cars and trucks bc the enviromental ppl took all the good stuff out.

Surely they would not charge to much for a little spot job, its the size of a bb and I've bought the truck and the yaris from them with in the last year. Maybe a 100 bucks or so is that about right to much, to little I don't anything about fixing paint? Any advice on prices?

Thanks
