Canada trac control

I am seriously looking at buying a new 2007 Tundra but have questions about the trac control. I have read quite a few reviews on the truck that complain about the trac-control when in muddy off road conditions. Spefically, the trac-control attempting to brake and drop power to spinning wheels which leads to the vehicle bogging down a bit. Anyone else hear or experience this?? I know the VSC can be turned off but trac control cannot. I am curious to know if anyone else has experience with this! Thanks

James

I Have The 07 Tundra 5.7 And And If U Hit The Traction Control Once U Can Fish Tail And Do 360's And Burnouts. Then If Your Stoped And Hold The Button It Stops The Limited Slip And U Can Smoke The Tires Like Crazy. Tried The Other Button But Didnt See A Change In Anything But I Wasnt In 4x4. That Might Do Something There. Not Sure. But Im Always Hitting The Traction Button. I Hate Having It Bog Out Too. My Rear Tires Are Taking A Beating Though. I Let A Chevy Guy Drive My Tundra And Hes Buying A Tundra When His Lease Is Up. And I Have Killed Dodge Rumble Bees With Hemi. He Was Pissed But I Loved It. I Give Tundras Thumbs Up

TRAC on this truck is excellent. It cuts the power from the engine to keep the wheels from slipping, a minus when pulling out in front of someone thinking you are going to go fast (like I did). Pushing the button once activates the Auto LSD, which applies the brakes to the slipping wheel to make the one with traction go. Using this doesn't cut power. So now when I want to pull out in traffic and go, I push the button and the brakes control slippage. This might be where people are complaining, but are ignorant on how the system works. If they don't use the button, yes getting out of mud will be damn near impossible because the engine will cut power to reduce slippage. Pushing the button and releasing activates your LSD which would help getting out of that situation.
