Has anyone on this 07 Tundra forum made this trade and if so were you happy with it?

Traded in my 06 Tundra Double Cab SR5 Black 4x4 for a 07 Tundra Crew Max SR5 Blue 4x4 and am VERY happy I did it. I tow a 7550 Travel Trailer and it is night and Day from the 06. It has a better turning ratio and lots, lots, lots did I say lots??? more power. Would trade an 06 in heartbeat again. Good Luck!!!!

Agree with D1Boz. Traded my 06 tacoma to the 07 4x4 tundra last week and couldn’t believe why I didn't do it sooner.

I have. I had the 06 DC Long Bed 4x4 TRD Sport and traded it in for a 07 5.7 DC 4x4 TRD Tundra. The Tundra is so much more truck that it ain't even funny

Anyway I was very happy with my Taco, and I am very happy with my Tundra.

Would I recommend a Tundra to a friend? Absolutely.
Would I trade in 06 Taco for a 07 Tundra again? In a heartbeat.

I just picked up my 5.7 RC SB this morning, went straight to the Feed Store for a load. COuldn't tell it was back there. Tons of power, nice ride. I drove the 4.7 version. WHat a dog.

Yeah, I traded my 06 Reg Cab Taco in for this beast...there's no comparison to make. The Tacoma was an awesome truck, and I'm still pissed at the wife for making me sell it, but I'm happy that I "talked" (told!) her this was what we were going to get instead

I want to get back into a Tacoma again, but only for my offroad advneture...no offroad fun in this limo (maybe the sanddunes?)

Thanx for the replies, I've been looking at the DC TRD Off Road 5.7. I think you all just made up my mind, looks like I'll be spending Saturday at the dealer to take advantage of the 0% finance rates.

I'm very pleased with mine. I drove it accross a field up a steep hay covered hill without spinning tires in the rain. Went into my barn up a steep approach with only a little wheel spin shifted to 4x4 and walked it in. This thing is really looking good to me. It turned around in the 30 ft hall with only two backups too. Almost as good as my AWD Dakota I'm replacing. I have to get my trailer brake unit installed from my old truck and we'll see if that 401 lbs. or torque is for real. It has some impressive accerlation so the 381hp shows up in spades.
