fog lights / driving lights

I want to add some fogs or driving lights in the spots provided in the front bumper of my 07 Tundra. Anyone know of a brand/model that fits in there perfectly? I've been looking around, but thusfar found nothing. Any suggestions??

Thanks!

I found something on ebay called bling lights but don't know anything about them. The add says they fit perfectly in the hole on front bumper, complete with wire harness and switch. I was about to ask the same question you did, and ask if anyone had experience with these lights.

I saw the bling lights in a magazine. I'd like to hear more about them before I bought them.

Get a pair of yellow lenses from stickercity.com
Will cost you $20 and 20 minutes worth of work with an Xacto knife, water, rubbing alcohol, and a hair dryer. If you don't like them, remove and spend big bucks.

I don't know about you guys but I am not going to buy a 30,000 dollar vehicle plus and then put 80.00 dollar lights in it. Stickercity sounds even worse. Xacto knife and a hair dryer!!!!! I am saving up to put in some real fog lights. PIAA 520's. They will cost me 410 dollars from my local Performance 4x4shop. Yeah, 400.00 dollars. I have called every Toyota dealership in the area and they are not selling a fog light kit from Toyota. Unless you got them in the truck when it was drove off of the lot then you need to improvise. I have been told that a kit maybe being relaesed later around January but it will probably cost 600.00 - 800.00 dollars without installation. So, I think 400.00 dollars is a deal for much better quality lights.

If anyone is driving a 2007 Tundra that cost all of $30k, that person is a heck of a horse trader ... or he/she didn't buy much of a Tundra. Spending eighty bucks for cheap lights or twenty bucks for yellow stickers is, indeed, almost laughable when compared to shelling out $400-500 for 'real' lights. Despite the laughability of the $80/$20 options, THEY WORK. And the technique of applying the stick-ons (water, rubbing alcohol, hair dryer) is SOP at any detailing shop. The point of the original posts was to show that low-end options exist. I wish I had been aware of them in 1995, when I spent too much money on PIAA equipment that proved to be very, very average.

Sorry Buckwheat,I didn't mean to offend you. It is funny that you posted your reply today. I went to have the PIAA's installed yesterday. The shop promised me they could mount them in the bumper where the factory ones went. Well, 4 hours later and one damaged cover, I told them to take their hands off of my truck!!! When you take the black plastic covers out there is only one bracket on the side. The PIAA's will not mount without grinding down it's bracket. Second, there is no way to keep the black plastic piece of any of the cover on the truck. So, you are left with a fog light that doesn't quite fit and there is a big hole in the side of the bumper. They also tried to mount the switch in one of the knockouts in my dash. They ended up cracking the knockout next to it and mounting the switch with a velcro sticky. The PIAA's only came with a generic switch that was big and ugly and had to be stuck on. They had a big wire coming up through by the steering wheel to the left side by my RSCA button. Needless to say, a wasted effort. I went immediatley back to Toyota and ordered a new fog light plastic cover, and a new dash insert and knockout. The dash insert is the small piece around the three knockouts on the left side. It houses the RCSA button. This was a valuable experience. I do not think that any aftermarket lights will fit perfectly in the 07 Tundra. If anyone has done it, please, please share............

Fog Lights

My truck is a 2007 Tacoma access cab 4X4 V6. The only option I have is the convenience package which includes power windows/door locks/mirrors, remote keyless entry, cruise control, sliding rear window with privacy glass. I ordered a set of fog lights from Advance auto Parts Store in Kingsport, TN, about $190 for the two lights. After removing the factory plugs the fog lights I bought plugged in just like the factory lights. I had crawled in under a Tacoma with factory installed fog lights to look. I had seen a coiled wire with plug taped under the fender well of my truck This factory installed wiring harness had a plug on the end exactly like the one on the fog lights on the truck I had looked at. The plug on this "factory wiring kit" plugged into the fog lights I had just installed. My next search was for a factory switch. I went to my local dealer and ask if a stock switch was available for the fog lights. He told me no but after I insisted he looked at his Tacoma parts list he found one and I ask for the stock number. The Toyota stock number is 84160 04010, my local dealer sells this switch for $54.95. I looked on line and found a on line listing for Toyota Parts. Address is http://www.toyota-parts-dealer.com/ I plugged in the part number and found the switch available for $35.48 plus approximately $10. Total time for installing the fog lights was about 10 -15 minutes. I removed one of the blanks on the dash and the wiring is there for the switch I ordered. I anticipate a 10 - 15 minutes installation for this switch. I am not very mechanically inclined so the route I chose works better for me. Total time for complete installation was about thirty minutes and easy enough for anyone to do. More details can be found at http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tec...sockets-2.html plus feel free to email and I will try to answer any questions you might have.
