anyone with 07 Tundra Bed cap??

im deciding on whether to get a bed cover, or a bed cap.

Im having problems picturing the Tundra with a Cap on it.

anyone have apicture of a 07 with a CAP. And if you are computer savy,

And do anyone recommend any certain type/store of bed cover??

See 4are.com site and check the LSII and/or LSX tonneau caps. Local A.R.E. outlet quoted $975 for the cap. Looked at bedrug for a bit, but then the wife really took interest in a bed slide. Still waiting to hear if A.R.E. makes a slide for our 07 CrewMax. We had RhinoLiner in our 05 DblCab, but the wife hated it. As a left-handed compliment, the quality of the RhinoLiner was so good, NOTHING would slide on it, a particularly tough challenge for most women.

Leer 700 cap for Tundra

I have a Leer 700 bed cap. Cost was $860 NOT including tax and install charge. Fit and finish are top notch. Getting about 1.5 extra miles per gal. Images can be viewed @

Local (Montana) installed costs on A.R.E. items for the CrewMax are: $975 LSII cap; $775 bedslide; $350 bedrug. Am tempted to offer the dealer $1,900 for all three and see if he bites.

I got an Extang Tuff Tonneau III soft cover from autoanythingdotcom. $222.95 with free shipping. They have since lowered the price, and they have credited my account. I had one on the 2005 Taco and loved it, so we bought one for the Crewmax. Easy install. It took me and the wife about 30 minutes to put on, and that time included a soda break in the middle of the install. It rolls up like most of the soft covers, and does not have snaps. The sides fit into a groove on the frame. No drilling, banging or cussin' required. I also had a Line-x spray-in bedliner installed. Great stuff.

I've had a full tilt on my Dakota for five years. Never been garaged or cared for and still in pretty good shape. Its taken a real beating too. I'll probably put a extang tri fold on my Tundra. Its so high the full tilt would be a pain.
