Cruise Control on Base V-6?

Can anyone tell me, is it possible to add cruise control to an 07 base model V-6 Tundra. Anyone with experience on how well it works? Too bad no SR-5 package is available in the regular cab long bed. Thanks

Yes, it should be, if its anything like the Gen1 Tundra. Most (if not all) Toyota's use a general wiring harness. So the connectors will be there, you just have to add the stuff. See my How-to here. It was for a Tacoma, but your Tundra will be the same. All you will need is the cruise control stalk and the wire that connects that with the steering wheel spindle that is behind the airbag. Piece of cakeLet me know if you have any questions on install.

They're out there...

They're hard to find but they are out there. One dealer searched for an SR5 reg cab and told me they couldn't find one, but after hitting 4 dealers in my area I came up with 3 reg cab SR5s (2 at Greer SC and 1 at Spartanburg SC), all had the 5.7l w/ 4 wheel drive. The dealer I purchased from told me that the 5.7l is a pretty popular option right now, and that when they request another dealer transfer a 5.7l truck they have to take two 4.0l v6 models as well.
