I am new here and was just trying to guage out whether I got the good deal I think I did. I just ordered a 5.7L 4X4 double-cab TRD with the CWP, top-end running boards, JBL, and 2.5" RevTek dealer-installed lift for $35K OTD (fees included). This doesn't include the $3K rebate since my truck won't arrive up here in Alaska until early September. I will be locked into whatever rebate is in place at the time of delivery, so hopefully it gets even better! Anybody have an educated guess as to what the rebates or incentives might be that close to the model year closeout timeframe?
You might get screwed, so be careful. I don't forsee Toyota continuing the rebates much longer, but I could be wrong. Since the truck is still in its first year, I wouldn't count on more than $3500 on a rebate. The 0% is a rare opportunity in Toyota's history to get that rate, so I went that route.

$3,500 seemed to be the consensus among the guys at the stealership too, but I wasn't sure if they were just BS'ing me. My guess (and hope) is that the rebate will not go away, and if it does increase, it'll be no more than $3,500. I too would have jumped on the 0% bandwagon, however, the configuration I wanted was no in stock so I had to special order it. My requirements were that it had to be a 5.7L TRD in Pyrite Mica w/black interior, and had to have the JBL w/bluetooth. My wife's requirements were the lift kit and brushed aluminum running boards, which I happily obliged with.
It'll be built in San Antonio on August 27th, and delivered up here to Anchorage, Alaska, on or near September 13th. The wait will suck, but at least I'm getting exactly what I want!
True! I've always been hesitant about ordering vehicles, though. Dealers seem to care less when you order versus buying from their lot. My dad use to special order vehicles until he realized he was getting screwed on price instead of waiting for one he liked to show up on the lot (which he does now). I really hope you have a good dealership. There' no reason why you can't talk numbers now, though, since you know the otpions going into your truck, you should know the MSRP and inflated invoice...

I had all the numbers banged out and set in stone prior to making my deposit on my new truck. I'd have been left at their mercy had I not! All options added, I got it for $35K OTD prior to any rebates. I figure that after rebates at the time of delivery, I'll be getting it for $31,500 to $32,000.
