Here’s something to think about. The installed Toyota GPS just might become somewhat obsolete due to advances in GPS technology. Instead, buy a good Garmin or Tom Tom for 4 or 5 hundred bucks, and save the rest of the $2,8K for future portable GPS purchases. I bought a Garmin, and I can take it out of the Tundra and put it in the Corolla or even my lawn tractor. I can carry it with me when I walk. I will always be able to find my way home from Wal-Mart, no matter what I drive there. LOL. When the current Garmin is obsolete I will still have plenty of money left to buy another.

I agree 100% with usn, that's why I'm glad I didn't get it. Its nice, looks great and is integrated into the car, but the discs for those things cost $500 buck if you loose it or want to update. I know some Garmins you can update a couple times for free...
