backup camera

Well, I just picked up my new DC 5.7 with TRD package a few hours age. Wow! 20 miles on it, going cruising later. I sure like the look and feel of this truck so far!Does anyone have the backup camera? I am having the backup camera installed when it comes in. Does anyone have a picture of this installed. The salesman has not seen one yet. Any impressions of it?

I have it, like it a lot. Do you have the Navi package? I do, whenever you pop into reverse the screen changes to the view of whats behind you. Its a super wide angle camera, you can see the entire rear bumper. You also gotta resist the temptation to only look at the screen when you back-up, and remember to look out your windows/mirrors

Sorry, dont have any pix at the moment

I don't have the nav package. I already had a portable GPS but I do a lot of towing and have to back into some tight areas. The camera will come in handy. I alway worry about hitting the bumper with the trailer. This will be a big help!

What I meant was, to see and make sure that when backing up with the trailer. I am concerned about hitting the bumper with the trailer when at extreme angles.

Depending on how tall you are it can be a little hard to see the screen. If you are over 6' tall it's a little hard to see.
