Tire pressure questions

I check my tire pressure all the time so I keep on top of it. I think that 30 lbs is way too little for a big ole tire like that. I pump it up to 35 lbs and it so rough that I can run over a dime and tell if it's heads or tails. It looks as though the front are wearing on the edges indicative of low pressure. Anyone else experiment with tire pressure?

I run at 35 front, 33 rear with no problems. If it gets any worse, I'd take it to the dealer to souble check your alignmnt.

You must rotate as recommended in the owners manual. Toyota, Ford and GM trucks I have owned all had steering geometry (yes, properly aligned) that tend to do that to the front tires. Over inflation, as you have noticed, does not fix it.

That system is no substitute for check your tires. The system probably won't even display the light until the tire pressure is below 26psi, and that low of a pressure could be enough to destroy your tire and/or cause a rollover in extreme manuvering...

neeed to rotate your tires more offen.. also running 35 psi does help.. u get a bumpy ride but your tires will last longer..

its because the new tundra has one of the best turning ratios in its class.. more turning ratio means more wear on the outside of the tires..

should ask most prius owners lol.. they buy more tires than anyone else
