Seatbelt buzzer

Hey guys. New here and did a search but came up with camry and matrix forum stuff. Anyone disconnected the buzzer on their 07 tundra yet? Pulled up in the driveway today, put truck in park and undid the seatbelt to relax a min before getting out into the 111 degree heat..........the damn buzzer just wouldnt stop buzzing. My salesman told me more people have called back and asked about the buzzer, than any other thing.

There is a couple people on Tundra Solutions that have done it, but it was also discussed that it disabled the airbags I think. Check over there for the info, there are a couple threads about it.

The buzzer should not make a sound when you take your seatbelt off if the truck is in Park.

You can have it disabled by your dealer if its that much of a pain in the ass...but it goes off automatically after 30 seconds and only re-chimes if you stop.

My dealer says they cant disable it, integrated into some kind of module but i havent let it go for 30 seconds so will try that. It does chime while i am sitting in the drivers seat with the truck running and in park. Must really, really want me to put my seatbelt on

The dealer can disable the beeper on the passenger side only. It is one of the items that is customizable. The drivers side is not however.
