X-sp 5.7l

Hey guys, I just wanted to tell you how impressed I am with the 5.7L Tundra.

I had been looking at Tacomas, but recently decided to opt for something larger. I am 25, and no offense but most of the tundras I had seen looked a little too grown up for me....

That is until I saw this 2007 Super White, doublecab, 4X4, X-SP with the 5 spoke wheels and low profile looking BF all terrains on it, with the BORLA DUAL EXHAUST.

When the salesman started the engine I perked up big time with amazement. This thing sounded like a BEAST. Whats more is that when I pulled out of the dealership I realized that this thing WAS a BEAST. I am so impressed. It was a frickin BLAST to drive.

30 minutes later I was in the salesman's office: Credit gets pulled- check, Trade in evaluated- check, Everything is a GO! All I have to do now is haggle the price a little more. 30 minutes after that, we have made great progress. I thought they could do me about 34K out the door- salesman wants 35K out the door. I leave him and my brother in the office, and leave to take a leak from the complimentary H2O I have been guzzling in this 100 degree weather.

I come back and the salesman looks at my brother and says "you gone tell him or am I?" I ask "huh" and my brother says "dude somebody just bought your truck." WTF. So now what? the finance manager HAD to know 2 deals were going at once....oh well, im over it- I just want another one just like it. This pic below is the very one that got sold out from under me.
Oh well- I wanted Bucket seats anyway.

What do you guys feel I should pay for one of these babies?

Anyone seen any white ones like this in the South East? I am in Ga, and am having a hard time getting a salesman to find one just like it.

Can I fit an even bigger BF a/t tire on this?

Did you guys with the 5.7s feel like it was a rocket like I did- I mean, what? 6.2 seconds 0-60? I think thats much faster than the average car.

Dude, you need to upload your pics to a hosting site like photobucket.com and link them here, you can't upload them from your home PC directly to Toyota Nation.

Ha Ha Ha no humanoid- thats not- but whats funny is that my brother knows of the guy- he refs some of the youth baseball games down here- and he had been working a deal with the dealership for over an hour when I showed up. I test drove the truck, and aparently when I brought it back he and his wife were the couple that pulled up in a lexus and walked by when my brother and I had just pulled in, and were checking out the truck from different angles and what not...man I bet he almost shat himself! LOL i guess he had left to go to the bank, get some food, or just to walk away and come back to scare the dealer???

docindahouse- I am thinking about hitting them up later this week..

Hey, How do you guys think those BBS wheels would look with BF All Terrains like the JTI wheels get???

The sales people helping me cant find a white XSP like I like down here- they act like you cant get an XSP with the JTI wheels- even though they had one just like it last week. ANYHOW- They found a white truck with all the fixins of an xsp, with the 5.7 like I want, with the buckets, with the graphite leather. Just no XSP badges and carbin trim- Im thinking about moving on it. The only thing is they act like if they get it in there will be a big ordeal to swap the big tow side mirrors with the smaller and sportier ones. And they dont act like they want to give on the price of the Borla Duels..... advice?

I bought the base model SR5 with the NAVI system. I added the BBS Wheels, the 305/50/20 Michelin Tires, the skid plate, the running boards, and the crome exhaust tip. I didn't like the look of the carbon dash, and I had leather seats in my last truck. I personally like the cloth better. I saved alot of money on the SR5 and made it into what I wanted. Do a search on XS-P wheels and tires and you can see pictures of the finished product. I am getting the Borlas installed next week!! I also live in Atlanta, I don't know where you have gone looking but I have a few contacts. I searched alot of dealerships before I found the truck I wanted and the price.

XSP with the JTI wheels-

Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is this XSP stuff and are the JT1 wheels offered by Toyota from the factory and are they 20"'s? THANKS as always. I'd love to see this tire setup on a white Tundra also. The silver unit looks great.
