07 pricing...is it too much?

Just bought a 07 Double cab w/ TRD package for $30,900 (0% financing for 36 mo) plus tax/title (totals 33,000) for my dad as a gift yesterday.

Is that a good price or did I pay too much? This is in Houston, TX.

thanks for the reply mhadden. Makes me feels better...I was a little concerned when I went online and looked at kelly blue book and it said "invoice is 24,xxx and msrp is 27,xxx" after I bought it...i thought i over paid..may be that's a non TRD version?
my gf's dad bought the Texas edition for the same price..not sure what's the diff w/ Texas edition...but I think it's same as mine w/ upgraded stereo system..i guess he got better price than I did..

Depends on the msrp of your truck. TRD double cabs can probably vary 5k or more on msrp depending on the options (TRD or not, engine choice, navi, bluetooth, SR5, JBL system, 4wd, 2wd). I think I got my 07 about 2k to 2.5k under msrp.

and if you got the 0%, then usually you don't get the rebate, atleast that's what I was told. I bought mine last month when they had 0% for 60 months. This month in AZ its 0 for 48. I wouldn't be able to afford a 36 month term.

Hard to say after the fact... the time to ask is BEFORE you buy!

I hear stories of a few hundred over invoice. And I believe it, there is money on the "back end" for the dealers so they can sell one for that and still make money.

As for yours.... hey, it is what it is...it's done. Don't worry about it just enjoy the truck!
