Just sold the Taco , and I'm trying to consider options on the Tundra CM before I order one. Does anyone have the DVD/NAV system? If so, is it worth it? What about stepping up to the Limited, if you had to do it again would you fork out the extra $$$$? Thanks,
I would have loved the nav, but couldn't see forking out the extra cash...I love anything that looks OEM, but aftermarket systems seem to be a lot better (and cheaper!) I'll stick with my $350 Garmin, then when the maps are out of date, I'll buy a new one! The DVD's for those things are $350/pop. Like woah.

^^^ He's just a Tundra-hater, so don't mind him Ricky
Why you sold your Taco? Your Taco got an amazing setup and mods!!
I know, it was hard to let it go...I've been wanting a Tundra ever since they came out. It's hard to say no, when someone is offering you cash for more than you paid for a vehicle two years ago. I'm gonna miss her But this new Tundra is gonna be sweeet!!! Can't wait to pick it up!!

Oh, that's why If I were you, I would probably take the cash too, especially when you get paid more than what the truck would be worth accounting for depreciation and all the mods.
I believe if you get the sat-nav package you also get the rear-view camera which could be very handy when backing up. Tough choices, but overall you'll get a very nice truck
I have the JBL w/Nav & Back up camera option. Nav system is very nice, however a good bit of if is greyed out (unuseable on the move) because Toyota doesn't want you messing with it while driving at a speed greater than about 3MPH. Can be slightly annoying at times...would be helpful if the same sensor in the passenger seat for the seat belt indicator would also allow your passenger then to operate the Nav without it being greyed out!!! Back up camera is nice, gives a good range of view behind you, useless if it's raining though. Blue tooth for the phone is very nice, check the compatability of your phone with it to see what your phone will and wont do with it here:
Remote start because I have a black on black DC and the A/C set to cool it down is nice. However range is kind of short and the instant you unlock the doors in any fashion it shuts off, leaving you to have to restart it. I contacted Toyota about it, they said it was for anti-theft and that they were not concerned about the additional wear on the starter cause by now starting the vehicle twice.
The JBL sound quality is nice, crisp, and I have the XM tuner installed. Can store 18 preset favorite XM channels. Loading and unloading CDs does kind of bite slightly, not quite as user friendly as you might expect seeing as the face has to keep sliding down to do it.
Hope this helps you in your decision, and if you have any more questions let me know. I've had mine for a little over a month now and I still learn something new about it every day!
Thank's man!!! Those are some good pics. I ordered mine Friday, and I can go and pick it up on the 12th!!! I got a Silver Streak Crewmax LTD, it has got about everything you could want on it. I'll post up some pics when I get it. Thanks again!
you may be able to get passed the nav system while driving if you click your e brake just one smigg......Dont really recommend it but I know you can do it on the Hummer H2.
When you say that it goes to a grey screen...does it still tell you that your approaching a turn or your destination? Will the radio work while it is on the grey screen?

Just picked up my Crewmax Limited a week ago and love it. I didn't get the DVD/NAV - I was really kicking myself for not getting it. But then I heard it cost about $300.00 when you want to upgrade the DVD/NAV disc. You can buy a real nice portable NAV. system for about $500.00 or so and it only cost about $75.00 when you upgrade it.
You know I will!!! What size are your tires, the one I'm getting has got the 275x55x20's!! 20inch rims.....what the hell!! I dont know if I be able to pimp those....pimpin' aint easy!!!

I only have the 18's (275/65's)...I love the look of the 20's but damn! Tires aint cheap for 18's let alone 20's! I'm looking at getting my tried and proven Wrangler Silent Armors and they're $150/pop. Not bad. There aren't many tire selections for you, but HenryT over at TS that put 305's on his 20's...looks damn good (well, with the lift). Here's the link:http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...-lift-305-ats/
And the pics incase you aren't a member:
I love the BFG's, but I've been told reliability (treadwear) and some snow/wet traction aren't great; two things I really need. I need to get rid of these damn stainless running boards have, but the wife won't let me...good thing is that its protecting the rockers...
