USA Engine remote start

I got my Tundra 5 days ago in replacement of my 2005 Tundra SR5 and I'm completely satisfied, it drives better, feels better and has a LOT of more room inside. My only question is, does any one know how to open (unlock) the doors once you activate the remote engine start without stoping the engine?

Thanks!

Nope

I contacted Toyota about that very same thing, and was told that it's part of the anti-theft that it shuts off when you open the door in any fashion...I agree that it sucks. Hopefully someone will come out with a mod for it!!!

Cannot believe it!

First it does not work from a long distance, second you have to stop the engine before you can get in, what is the point of this? Show it to your friends? The guy who invented that should live in Arizona or spend a summer here at least! Thanks for your replay :-)

i got it installed too and it really sucks. i had aftermarket in my 97 4runner and it was great. i got them too rip it out. i was getting a 5000' range pager system in my 07 tundra yesterday sept 11. the only thing is they cant seem to get to work is the door locks. he was over confident and said no problem. its the first one in nova scotia canada. in the us they prob have no problems. i suggest aftermarket.
