Well, they are on order and should be in tomorrow. Unfortanutely, I'm in Iowa on business and have to wait til Saturday to get them installed I got antsy in my pantsy!
I know some won't care, they are the same size as stock, but IMHO, these are excellent tires for the money and proved themselves this past winter. I'll have them just in time for what they are expecting to be another "snowy winter" here Pics will be up soon.

Just curious, are you keeping the same rims on your Tundra and running them year round? My wife is getting upset that every vehicle I have, has two sets of rims and tires and the day she came home and an exhaust was on the kitchen table it wasn't a pretty sight lol
My wife would kill me if I ever put anything auto related on the kitchen table! I do plan on running then year round...I did this with the Taco as well. The tires wear like iron and given the rate of wear on the last ones I had, they'd last 60-80k miles, and better traction all around compared to stock.

My Tundra is at the dealer now, I'm hoping to take delivery Thursday. Part of the reason I have to wait is that I factored a set of Silent Armors into the deal. So I should be able to give some feedback on these tires too. Researching the stock BFGs confirmed my suspicion - they are rim savers, and that's it.
Yeah, I heard too many bad things about the BFGs including poor wear and traction issues on wet/snowy roads. Not to mention they are almost $200 a tire! I'll stick with what I was happy with

I wasn't a fan of Goodyears, but the stock AT/S on my F150 have been great and are still looking good after 60 000 km. I work in the oil patch, so I do a lot of highway driving, but need to get out of some really muddy and snowy places from time to time. The previous Goodyears were great for my situation, and I hear the Silent Armors are better. I figure if I plop those on a better truck (Tundra), I can pretty much drive up the derrik if I want. Time will tell.
I traded out on a small SUV for SilentArmors and here's first hand experience over about 15K miles:
1) SilentArmors had GREAT traction with no tire spin or squeal.
2) Bumps were "soaked up" like the brochure said.
3) Road noise was "moderate", but the vehicle I had was partially to blame. They were much quieter than the "Wrangler HP" radials I'd replaced.
4) My MPG went DOWN at least a full MPG and maybe 2 depending upon the pressure. The technology that soaks up the bumps, soaks up the MPG.
5) I'd do it again, but can't help but wonder if Michelin LTX or BridgeStone Dueler Alenzas would be better "road tire" options. All you offroaders out there, chime in with your tire favorites cause I'm pretty fond of driving on pavement m'self.
OWL in our out? I liked them out on the Taco, but I'm thinking with this truck, how big it is and the color, OWL out will look like crap. Just want some opinions.
