07 Tundra DRL ADD

Has anyone figured out how to add DRL yet on the 07 models? I have been searching for weeks and no one has been able to make it work. Toyota sells a DRL Relay, but just changing out the relay does not turn on the DRL's. No help from the dealer so far. It appears it may be a different harness or a change to the programming in the ECU? Thanks.

As I've been reading over at TS and some of the frustrated people over there, there are a few people who claim that even with the module, you have to have the dealer activate the feature by using the tech computer. ON the contrary, others have stated that you don't, that it should work. I would take it to your dealer and have them activate the feature.

I have not seen one post where someone has been successful on either site. Some have obtained the module and took it to the dealer and the scan tool does not have to ability to add drl. I was hoping someone would know the answer.

Why do you want the DRL on? I had it on my 4runner and tried to turn it off. Canada has this as a mandatory item maybe a canada one will work?

This is where the discussion goes, some people like them, others don't. I was driving to work one morning and had three people pull out in front of me like I was invisible. With lights on during the day, I can't see the dash lights. I do want to be seen by others so I don't end up a statistic.
