New to trucks, exhaust recommendations??

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to trucks can anybody point me in the right direction for a cat back dual side exit exhaust for my new 5.7L. That is besides the $1000 TRD system. Thanks a lot.

Try your local muffler shop, usually its cheaper. Cat-backs are big money.

I have the TRD system. I doubt you could find a better tuned setup, but give the big brands a visit on the web and see if there are any in the works....

I think the cost of the TRD system was a bargain.

I think the TRD system is worth the money. And the dealership won't be weckling you incase something goes wrong with an aftermarket setup. If I could find a magic $1000 on the money tree in my front yard, I'd buy the TRD

Then I'd be sleeping on the couch...

The cheapest I've been able to find the TRD Exhaust for is $915.00 plus shipping at Spark's Toyota. From what I've heard, there isn't alot of manufacturer to dealer mark-up on the TRD Accessories.

Yea after looking around I think I am going with the TRD, I test drove another truck with one and it did sound perfect, plus no warranty issues is nice.

Does the TRD come straight out the rear, or do they come out at 45* on either side?

I think it's straight out and not at a 45, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

55Reasons,

Do you happen to know what size piping those tailpipes are on that TRD system? If not, could you possible wrap a flexible tape measure around one and tell me what it measures all the way around. I could figure it out with that info.

Borla

I've got the Dual Exit Borla on my Crewmax, it sounds great. Not obnoxious, similar to the TRD, but I think a better quality stainless. I got my from Sparks TRD, cheapest around.

I've got a clip and pics of it on my site, take a look/listen
