Find the truck you like at the dealership. Note the style, engine size, whether its 4x2 or 4x4 and the options. Then go to www.edmunds.com and price out your Tundra. The invoice price will be listed. Then use the invoice as your bargaining before any incentives. The "What people are Paying" isn't reliable and is ususally over what people really are paying. If you find a good dealership, they should offer you the truck for a little over invoice before incentives.

got my $'ing report...however it is a LOT lower than the sticker prices i saw today...
the truck i spec'd out on there is a limited 5.7 crewmax....it gave me a $ of just over $40k....is this real? can i just walk in there and expect them to accept that offer and then take the incentives off????

No you can't go in there and just expect that price. The dealer will jerk you around, that's what they are paid to do. When the wife and I bought our Tundra, I told them that I knew the owners of Kokomo Auto World (which I do) and said I really didn't want to drive 150 miles away to pick up a truck and told them the price I thought was fair (which was $500 over invoice), so that story was my leverage. Keep in mind if you aren't ready to sign papers that day, they will jerk you around more. If you have a trade, talk about that after you agree on the Tundra's price. Make sure you get the price where you want it (like invoice or maybe $500 over invoice). Just be prepared to be there for a couple hours. We were at the dealership for 3-4 hours.

ok...i am taking a few pricing reports...on different models...
they told me they had 5 trucks to sell....so they need one by today....
answer me this.....if these price reports are online like this....WHY in HELL are the sticker $'s so high? the limited i looked at yesterday was $50k......and the specs that i put out are around $41k.....

Make sure you have the right model and all that. When I priced mine before i bought it, it matched up perfectly with the window sticker. Also, the 2008's are on the lots and few 2007's remain, so make sure you select the right year when pricing. Remember to include all the options. Byt regardless, Limited's are ridiculously expensive That's why I went SR5 since I didn't need the leather and some of the extra crap (but would have loved the Optitron gauges. Ask them to show you the invoice. Then shoot for that or around $500 over that. Stay firm, then use your rebates to go below invoice
If you have a wife, take her with you...Then if she thinks the price is high, she can say "well, we'll just go to that other dealership..." and they'll work a little harder!

Check out Jim Barkley Toyota.com. Their prices are posted on the web site and usually hard to beat. I bought a LTD Crewmax from them - MSRP was $40,850.00, their posted price was $33,510.00. I drove 5 hours to get it spent 45 min. at the dealership and was on my way. Good Luck!

Thanks for telling him! I completely forgot about their deals!

that is awesome....however, do those selling $'s reflect the current offering of $3,000 cash back?????
it would be really nice if they did....
That price includes everything but tax and tag. No hidden dealer fees. Jim Barkley has taken their rebate back up to $3,500 on remaining 2007 Crewmax models according to their website.
all I can say is keep looking. Send emails and and search the dealers within a days drive. I live in the Chicago Area, and I drove 180 miles to Holland MI to get my truck - it was worth the Drive. Don't give your sale to a dealer who doesn't treat you right - price or service.
