Question about 500 breakin and towing.

I have been following the guideline on break in. No cruise control, no full throttle starts (ok a couple of full throttle roll ons from 50 mph or so), no towing. I need to get some fire wood and only have 370 miles on the clock. Would it hurt to pull a load of less than 3000 lbs ? Actually that would only be on the return trip ...total miles about 50. I hate to baby this thing too much and have been varying the throttle alot but than again I don't want future engine/tranny problems by not going 500 miles.

What should I do?

I've seen this question posed several ways on this and another board. The consensus was...it would be okay. There are a lot of people (mechanics and racers) that think you should run the hell outta the engine the first 5 hundred. I towed a boat from Ohio to Tenn, but I had 2K miles on it by then. The Tundra won't even feel 3K lbs. IMO
