USA Sup all, New to the forums and my new truck.

Sup guys and women. I just bought my new black 5.7L V8 2008 Tundra CREWMAX yesterday and thought I would join the forums today. I love the truck and its beauty, power, interior, and the way it drives. I use to have a 2004 DODGE RAM which was pretty much custom from the ground up. I had it stolen last year from my school, got it back, and rebuilt it with twice the stuff I had on it before. About 2 months ago the truck was stolen again and this time I had about 20,000$ put into it and everything was stripped out. I built it back just to sell it quickly and I got the tundra. HUGE DIFFERENCE. The ram doesn't even compare. The tundra is 1,000,000 times better then the ram or any other truck.

I just took it today to get 5% tint on all the windows and the eyebrow. I'm getting exhaust on it Friday, neons and a billet grill on it this weekend, and decalled this weekend as well. So yah a pretty busy week for myself and my new baby ha.

In the future (about a month to 2 months) I'm raising it 4" and putting 26" rims on it. I am also getting 4 headrest screens in the headrests (including the back 2) and getting a in-dash screen for the front. I am also blacking out my back 2 lights and the 3rd light up top. EVERYTHING is going to be black except for the rims. I'm pretty much going for the "nightrider" look you could say.

NOW FOR THE 3 MAIN THINGS I HAVE BEEN DYING TO FIND OUT!!!

1st: How do you turn off the beep for the alarm (example: when you lock or unlock the truck)?

2nd: How do you change the remote to unlock all 4 doors at once when I press the "UNLOCK" button?

and 3rd: How do you turn off the beep for the seatbelts?

Well I just wanted to introduce myself and my new Tundra and HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE!

Thanks a lot,

-Roscoe

First off, welcome to TN Enjoy your stay

To answer your questions:
1. Take it to the dealer and have them program it off. I'm guessing you have the SR5, though. If you have the Limited trim, there is a way to turn off the beep through the options/mileage display that is in the cluster.

2. No such luck. All Tundra you have to push once to unlock the driver and twice to unlock all.

3. There have been a couple people who have used credit crds or similar items to "fab" up a mock seatbelt and put it in the buckle to get it to stop beeping. There was also some people who tore the buckle part and monkied with some stuff, although I don't know what they did. And I'm not sure whether the dealer can program the beep off. If you take it in to have the beep for the keyless done, I'd ask about this, too.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

, looks great! How much did that antenna run you?

Oh and by the way in regards to your truck beeping when you hit the keyless entry, there is a little speaker under the hood that you can throw some duct tape over and you cant hear it. Just pop the hood and hit the button until you find it....ghetto yes

The antenna ran me at like wat 20$ it wasnt expensive at all and looks a hell of a lot better! It doesnt static when I listen to the radio (which is rare) either so its a good one.

Here are some pics from the exhaust that I got installed about an hour ago.

Ill put up a sound clip soon so u can hear the rumble, it really sounds amazing and I suggest everyone get dual exhaust on their trucks!

Right rear tire

Left rear tire

I should be getting on the grill in the next week or so, so I'll throw some pics of that up when I get that on.

Thumbs up

Thanks bro and yah I can't wait to get it lifted as well. I already feel like I'm sittin high as f*ck so it's going to be fun haha. I already sit about 2" higher than stock Tundras because of the 4x4.

But it's going to be high as hell with the lift and especially with the 26's.

BTW, it appears was wrong. It does look like you can have the computer programmed to have the doors all unlock with one press of your fob button. Just wanted to let you know.
