Recommend a Replacement Wiper 07?

Hi folks

After 1800 miles and only being in the rain twice, my driver's side wiper shit the bed. Can anyone rec a replacement brand/type?

Thanks!

If you have the time and are by one, go to the dealership. They are warrantied for 6 months. There a few guys that have been getting theirs replaced because they keep going out. Other than that, I can't recommend any. If you do decide not to go to the dealership I would just buy inserts and replace the blades, not the whole assembly.

Supposedly there are no inserts for these blades, you would have to buy the whole assembly. I could be wrong and hope I am. According to my local dealer there is a mist sensor in the blade. I was quoted $58 to replace them both......and that was supposedly at cost!

OH JESUS! A mist sensor!?!?! Come on! I think you need to find another dealership!

$58 is a little steep, hell even Bosch Icon blades are only $20 a piece! Either way, get them replaced under the 6-month warranty or just buy your own!

The dealer was nice enough to replace both for free.

OMG...there's 3 strings on this forum regarding this topic!?!? I gave my full input on a different string so I'll keep it short here. Trico Tech Beam Blades fit fine and work great. You can get them online. I usually get Trico NeoForms but these have a new mount that allow the arm to sit slightly lower. Nice, beefy blades.

Bosch(pair@$50) and if you want them to last... use some rain-x !
make sure to raise your blades when applying the rain-x! it will dry rubber due to the alcohol! so keep that in mind!

I agree with your glass treatment statement. I'm too lazy to re-apply every couple of weeks though so I use Aquapel Glass Treatment which lasts about 4-6 months. I thought it was a bunch of BS until I tried it - mine definitely lasted 6 months. Don't really need the wipers at highway speeds.
