That looks like fun! I was doing drifts, with the wheel at lock, the length of our stadium's parking lot a few weeks ago in my Taco, but I didn't get any pictures (because I was worried the cops were gonna come talk to me and I didn't want any self-incriminating evidence. lol). I'm sure I'll get a chance to have the Tundra out in it sometime soon, though - and I'll make sure to have a camera with me!
Question. When your messing around in the snow with your traction control on do you notice a grinding noise when it kicks in. Ever since the new transmission ive noticed anytime my truck loses traction with the traction control on it sounds like something is grinding. Doesnt do it with it turned off. Sometimes it just bogs down like before the new trans. but will still sound like it grinds. I never noticed the grinding noise with the "rumble stripped" trans. Just wondering? Im thinking its yet another thing to bring to the dealers attention when I get my free oil change.

Sounds like it might be the servo motors working to keep your truck going in a straight line.

Yes, it does it, even in 4wd. It's the trac system in 2HI or A-Trac in 4HI or LO. You can turn it off in all drive modes by stopping and pressing and holding the traction button until the trac light comes on. Then there's no blender with marbles in it sound But, it doesn't bother me either. When going through some difts, its niceh having an "electronic brake-controlled diff locker"
Dana, does you snow keep melting and coming back like us? The last 6 weekends we've had snow or ice, but later in the week it melts away and falls again!

Matt, yeah our snow keeps melting then coming back, we were supposed to get pounded yesterday but we only got about 3 inches . Its supposed to be in the single digits most of the week which is a little too cold.
cbr600rr, I get the same thing you described, especially in 2WD with the traction control on...it does work pretty good, much better than my wifes 06 Lincoln, which has the worst traction control ever. The car is front wheel drive and there is no way to disable the traction control (that I know of). It got stuck in my driveway yesterday when the snow was packed, had the peddle to the floor and the car refused to move , thinking about ditching it for a RX350.
