Does anyone know if a dealer that has a big Tundra inventory in eastern PA or NJ? I have been checking on-line but most Toyota sites dont show their exact inventory. Toyota needs to get their act together with this info because Dodge has this information at your fingertips.
I am looking for an '08 Tundra with the following options.
4x4
Dbl Cab (NO console)
8ft bed
5.7L
cold kit
sliding rear window
heated mirrors
Seems like the 8ft bed is the sticking point. Not sure why the smaller bed is more popular. Ive had a C10 for 18 years and the 8ft bed has come in very handy.
I hear you! Toyota's website is TERRIBLE! Sure they have neat little videos...big whoop! I want dealer inventories, and I want to know what the current incentives are. Ford's site is really good too.
Anyway, you can have a local dealer find one for you. When I bought my Armada, my local dealership didn't have what I wanted, but they found one 100 miles away, and I still got a hell of a deal ($8k+ off MSRP).

I'm the biggest boss thatchu seen thus far! Baby, that's muh wi'zzard!
All I can say is keep looking. You're right, Toyota's site does suck for inventories and the whole regional thing is a load. But if you have a dealer that is dedicated to getting your business, they'll track one with the options that you listed for you...
Oh, and welcome to TN

Well Boys (nGals if there are any in the houuuuusssse!) I found an '08 Tundra 4x4 DC Long bed tonight less than 3 miles from my house and signed for it.
Its only got a few options which I swear were on every truck I looked at.
Anyway I am looking forward to many good years with this truck and if it lasts as long as my C10 (18ys) I will be happy.
A spray-in bedliner, Running boards and some kind of racing or pin striping may be my first mods. Its super-white so anything goes!
Sorry about the no pics. The weather has been rainy since I bought it so no pics yet. Honestly its just a base Tundra DC 8ft bed in white, nuttin fancy.
Havent figured out how to post a pic anyway.

Please let me know if you can see this pic. Again please dont bash me for the non-Tundra posting....this is only a test... 'BEEEEEEEEEEP'
How'd I do?

Yea The long box was a must. I use my truck like a truck hauling the occasional plywood, sheet rock or 16' deck boards. The short box just wont cut it. I already hauled two sofa's and my Xmas tree.
The best part is the bed mat from my old truck fits almost perfectly. Its from an 88-98 C10, I got it for $10 from a guy selling his truck. So if you have this bed dont be afraid to pick one up at your local Pep Boys, Auto Zone etc. Probably cheaper than the Toyota one.
Ive been driving it for 4 days and Im used to the length already. I just have to remember to back in were ever I park or park out of the way. I can use the exercise anyway.
Thanks for the compliments. Ill post more pics as I add stuff (step bars, chrome wheels, striping, etc.)
Thanks again
Frank T

I pretty much got the long box for the same reason, hauling lumber and other larger items. Size wasn't an issue for me since I'm a tractor trailer driver and this truck isn't my main mode of transportation since I kept my car and didn't trade it in. I can't wait to take the Tundra on a long road trip, my car drives me crazy on long trips even though I can get 50mpg when the weather is right.
