My super white tundra needs some spicing up. But I couldnt find any cool Toyota decals, so I made my own. I submitted the idea below for a rocker panel decal to a few MFG's today. It would be placed down on the rocker panel below the "TUNDRA" name plate and the stripes will run from the front to rear wheel well. The lettering you see below will start at the front door and be the same height as the Tundra lettering.
Let me know what you think...

The display of the power figures seems kinda "tacky", plus they might change as mileage accumulates, or if you do performance mods to it.
It might look better too if you opt with a silver/gray color instead of the baby-blue, since your truck is white. But if that's the color you really want, then why not. It's your truck after all
But seriously, I say ditch the power figures.

Thanks for the feed back Echo.
I kinda thought the HP/TQ rating was cool but once I mock it up on the truck it may be over the top....the wife suggested silver also. May have to mock up a silver stripe now that you said the same thing.
Thanks for not flaming me.
Looking forward to more feed back but remember... i have feelings too

It's pretty cool. I wouldn't do it personally but hey. The whole rocker panel though.....you're going to get a lot of attention.....and probably all the wrong kind:
- Po-po
- rice boys wanting to test their new turbo
- die hard American truck guys who can't let a "Jap" truck beat them
etc
But if you can deal with all that, then go for it! I love the fact you have some "real" V8 muscle cars too.....that's pretty cool!

Me thinks he probably wants "a bit" of the attention (from the bold ones lol), but I think it should be enough to win some battles If I were Frank, I'll pick my battle I mean, it is a long wheelbase, long bed after all. If the road ain't straight, don't bother wasting gas

Thanks guys.
I dont think Im looking for attention. I just want to be separated from being mistaken for a construction-site truck. Ive already gotten that statement twice. The stripe will only be about 2" thick so you will really need to get close to read the HP/TQ lettering.
I may end up with just a thin pin stripe down the side... still planning.
BTW whats Po-Po? Police?
Thanks for the feed back

I'd say lose the numbers as well. I'd probably put a little note in there some how that the tundra is personally endorsed by VMAX as the greatest truck ever built on US soil, but thats just me.

Thanks. Im getting the feeling the numbers are over the top so I think i am going with just the stripe
Also I was hoping to keep Vmax out of this thread. I havent read anything constructive on any of his posts. Just alot of tantalizing comments. Obviously didnt get hugged enough as a child.
