5.7 gas (not mileage)

for those of you with the 5.7L (4x2 or 4x4):
how much, on average are you paying per fill-up? how often are you visiting the gas station?
i'll be trading my ridgeline in this year, and i've got a good connection at a toyota dealer. i know my insurance will be cheaper for the tundra, but i'm trying to figure out if i'll be paying more overall if i include the cost of the fuel! thanks, gentlemen.

doesn't that depend on how many miles you drive on average, how heavy your foot is, what octane fuel you use, and how much gasoline goes for per gallon in your area........many factors in play there, but that is likely something you're gonna have to figure out with a little calculator action.

Well, when I had my Taco, I was paying $40 a fill. This was when gas was around $2.50 a gal. Now with my Tundra, I'm paying $60-80 depending on the cost of gas. I pay this when the light comes on...usually 20 gallons worth. I definately pay more now than I did with the Taco.

thanks. i'm paying about 60 bucks to fill the ridgeline right now--around 17 gallons--every week or week and a half.
you only put 20 gallons when the light comes on? i thought the tundra would have a bigger tank. that's not much more than i'm filling now. damn, this is tempting!

I'm confused. You want to know how much we spend on gas, but you don't want to know our gas mileage? How is this going to help you?

I spend $60/month.

Last fill was around 90 Canadian dollars. That was pretty empty at $1.05 per liter. Thats $88.59 US at $3.98 per gallon. I drive quite a bit so that usually lasts me 3 or 4 days. Just doing my part to increase global warming and making this oil rich province even richer.

I carpool to school, am in class from 8-5, and study all night/weekend so I don't do any extra driving.

Nice work on the 1.05 a litre for the Canadian, over here in BC were paying 1.15 a litre for 87 octane, and I can fit a solid 100 bucks in my tank and that last me 415km in town driving and 550 on the highway, I have the air raid filter and the dual exhaust as well which I thought would make it better but I am not to sure it does.
