5.7L Long Tube Headers

I have posted up this question on Tundra Solutions and figured I would branch out here as well to see if there is interest in other places as well. Here's the first post:

I want to post up to see if there would be interest in a set of long tube headers for the 5.7L motor 4x4 and 4x2 and all cab configurations.

A header manufacturer will be willing to design and make up a set of Tuned Long tube headers.

some of the specs thus far are:

3/8" exhaust flange
1 3/4" primaries
try-y design
stainless steel
3" cats moved back
removal of the 2nd set of cats, provided no issues with the O2 sensors or anything.
will be able to bolt up to aftermarket "cat-back" systems and oem exhaust.
2.5" after collector tubes.
Likely will be 28-34" in length

May or may not be coated.

They want to guage interest before commiting to making them up and what to see how many would be willing to order.

This is a header maker with a long history making Import and Domestic headers, they have been around since the late 60s and have built headers for many early and late model toyota and lexus vehicles.

The price has of course not been set because they are not done, but would range between $800 and $1100 depending on steel costs and design. I will also set up a group buy for the cheapest possible price when that time comes and will be in the group buy forum and per T/S guidelines.

This again is just to guage interest and determine whether or not the company will actually make them.

Thanks.

Here's the link to the forum there, some good info there and questions as well. http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...st/#post954516

Let me know what you folks think. Thanks!!!!

Edit:

This was a trashy post so I deleted it.

Anyway, I have a set of manifold gaskets on order and will soon know whether or not the company will want to do the headers. I will post up as soon as I know.
