Over at TS, 123Gone is the resident Line-X-er (he does it for a living. If I recall properly, he said it weighs about 1lb per sq ft. so not too much...20 or so max.

Good one. Hey just wondering, what are your plans with your sierra when gm goes under this summer? When they sell the remaining sierras for scrap metal to be turned into license plate you might have a hard time getting parts.

Sooooooooooooooo.....does anyone know how much a bedliner weighs?

I'd imagine they aren't all created equally. Some weigh more than others, some are applied thicker than others, and some beds are bigger than others.

Stole this from Rhino linings site:
Q. How much weight is added to my truck?
A. Your Rhino Lining will add between 45 and 65 lbs to the weight of your truck depending on the size of your truck bed.

You've been reading too many of fanfan's posts.

What is Toyota doing with all the scrap tailgates they are replacing? Selling them to Reynolds Wrap Co.?

They're donating them to gm, apparently each one contains enough metal to make a saturn.

Nice of them to help out that way, oh yeah and that fanfan post? That infos actually in just about every business mag in north america. I believe its a loss of around $39 billion for gm and profit of around $15 billion for toyota. That's just last year however. I'm sure gm has some plan to knock there loss down to around $10 billion this year.

Way to help the workers uaw.

The sad part is this loss come after cutting jobs from 246000 us workers in 94 to 73000 us workers in 07.
