Rotating Tires - Need Rebalancing?

2007 Tundra DC 4x4.

I want to rotate my own tires. Should I be able to without having to rebalance them? I have 5k miles. Anything else I should know about besides just taking them off, swapping their position front to back and then tightening them back up?

Thanks.

rotating procedure

You should not have to balance your tires unless you have a balancing problem now. I rotate my tires a little differently though. I "X" the front ones and bring the rear ones forward. That way every forth rotation they end up back at the same place rather than every other time. Works lot better for me.

only thing i dont like abut this type of rotation is it can throw your alignment off. but thats just me
