Downgraded -- sorta

Three days ago I traded in my 07 Titan Crew Cab LE 4x2 for an 08 Tundra Crew Max SR5 4x4. The Tundra is such a nicer vehicle IMHO. A few upgrades (Line-X, tint, auto-dim mirror, and TRD dual exhaust) and I will be set.

Anyone have the back-up camera? The one that fits in the tailgate. My wife wants to get that for me but I am thing Wet Okole seat covers instead.

sorry, it was kind of a joke. Threads are worthless without pics.

Grade of truck...

Well now, the only down grade in your deal was your lost money into your Titan, it's inferior in every way, yet that's another story.

The CrewMax holds its own against any truck for size and comfort, oh the Nav w/ Backup Camera is the Cats Meow, very nice and something, for those who tow, won't want to live without after using it. what a nice addition. You can't go wrong with the factory setup. The Tundra has a few bugs, but tell me any car that has no faults or room for improvement and someplace there's personal taste or comparing to what you used to drive... I'm guessing the Tundra gets better mpg than your Titan, if driven the same manner and pedal happyness... Enjoy and great choice.

Definitely an upgrade, to the Best truck for the money offering the best packages with economy to boot. I had a friend loss a rear diff in a Titan.

you know why right? they use the same rear diff as the frontier .. tiny and according to what i heard bout what nissian was doing about it.. all they did was replace it with the same one if covered under warranty.. they did not even change anything to handle to extra weight that the titan was suppose to tow compare to the frontiers

Get those two side X side and it'd be a good "twins" pic. Is that an IAFF sticker? Close enough for "Fire engine" Red....be like drivin' at work. Nice Toyota's!

Nope. It is a Marine Corps Shooting Team sticker. My last one too! I received two stickers when I shot on the Team in 1994. I used one on a Z I had and have been saving the other for the "right" vehicle. My new Tundra is a keeper and got the sticker. LOL!

I highly..and I do mean highly recommend the back up camera. I have an aftermarket nav system, so I didn't see a need for the nav system, so I got the back up camera put in with the little flip down monitor. It will save you a bunch of money if you get the back up camera alone. Factory installed it looks great in the truck. I do a lot of city driving, and freaquently have to parallel park, and it makes me look like a pro when I squeeze it into tight space. I love being able to back it right up to the front bumper of the car behind me before I pull forward. It still is funny to see the face of the driver behind me cringe as I back it perfectly up and stop before I pull nicely into the space. Of all the add ons I got, this is by far the best investment. The towing bennifits go with out saying, but it really helps out in day to day driving. Congratulations on your new purchase. I have a crew max also, and the added space in the back is appreciated by me, and more so by my passengers.

I miss the plains....but I have to admit Columbia SC has got to be my favorite city. I love being in the capital, and after work having all of these rivers to fish on. I am an avid fly fisherman, and I caught three beutiful Rainbows after work today. Great city for an outdoors kind of guy. I am still a die hard tiger fan though. War Eagle!!!
