Thumbs up Installed some LEDs in the dome lights and in the doors. (PICS)

hi guys, This is a good place to order LEDS and HID kits. I will do an HID kit review in a few weeks. I just wanted to share some pics of these nice LEDs first. V-leds

I used the "HID WHITE INVERTED CONE WEDGE BASE LEDs" in the doors and in the licence plate area.

also used the "HID WHITE WEDGE BASE LED DASH BOARD LIGHT BULB" In the glove box and under the drivers feet.

I used the "SUPER HID WHITE 9 LED LIGHT BULBS 921 " in the overhead lights

the guys over at v-leds are good people.

Question

Maybe a dumb question, but none the less. I purchased the LEDs for the interior and was able to replace the dome lights but can't seem to take off the light covers for the doors. How do I get them off w/out breaking them???

I forget but I think I used a small flat screwdriver. There should be a small slot on the cover. They some out pretty easy.

I used a small flat head screw driver.. if you look closely, there will be a small opening where you could fit the screw driver and pop the lights right out.

Thanks guy . I was able to pop it off pretty easy. I also swaped out the LEDs on the cargo light. I'll post some pics soon enough.

Thanks again.

V-LEDS 3 SMT HID WHITE WEDGE BASE DASH LIGHT BULBS 37 74 for the glove box and floor/pedal light.
V-LEDS HID WHITE 4 M-SMT 2W HIGH POWER BULBS 194 168 158 for my dome applications.

V-LEDS HID WHITE 4 LED 2 WATT HP M-SMT FLANK BULBS 194 168 158 for the doors. These are perfect for the way the bulb fits in the fixture.

A suggestion on the door light access. I used a small flat head screwdriver and "pryed" the fixture from the door panel. I pryed from the end toward the edge of the door. Then I unplugged the power harness. Then I removed the lens by prying the "hook" that holds the lens to the fixture. It is located near the front of the fixture, down through toward the body of the fixture. This made access to the bulb easy and also without any power connected no chance in shorting a fuse! Yeah..I learned the hard way.
I love the way the LEDs look in my truck. I am changing the high mount brake light, rear cargo lights, rear brake lights, rear and front turn signal lights and my back up lights. My Christmas present to myself and my truck!

pull it out with some needle nose plyers carefully. I used tape on the plyers.

Hello all, I recently swapped out all the bulbs in my 2008 Tundra for LEDs. Now I'm working on the exterior . Spoke to the guys over at V-Leds.com (http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/fp/SFV/32481) and they are offering a limited coupon code of 15% OFF. This includes HID kits (which they ship for free).
Coupon Code is : TOYOTANATION .
This code will be at 15% through December 25th and then it will be 10%. Give your ride a clean look , get LEDs.
