Trd Supercharger For 5.7l Tundra

Here's the official specs for the TRD supercharger for the 5.7L. It will put out 504 HP and 550 lb-ft of torque. Now that's impressive. Here's the article. I can't wait for performance stats. http://www.tundraheadquarters.com/bl...-lb-ft-torque/

Yeah. That's true. It's sad because there are alot of nice, high powered automobiles coming out and the only ones that will probably buy one is the rich. I just bought a 2007 Camry V6 for my wife last year and now i'm thinking of taking alook at the next Toyota Prius. I love the extra power but if these prices keep going up, I probably won't have a choice. Still I love the supercharger on this engine and I hope the performance spec are impressive.

It costs way too much. I'd consider one if it was $2000 installed........

Don't smoke crack

"If it was $2K installed".... I had one installed on my '01 Taco a while back and even that was like around $4K installed. TRD spends a lot of time developing these chargers, doubt you'll ever see one for less than $3K before installation. Not bashing, just keeping it real...in perspective that is! I loved having one in my Taco...I then traded it for the '05 Taco because I loved how much better they handled/road. Waited quite a while for a charger to be produced...went to the Tundra for more power and 3 months later the charger was out for the Taco...go figure! I love my Tundra though, and while I doubt I'll be the first to have one installed, but more than likely in this area I will be...I'll be putting one on as soon as I can afford it. If it's like the one I had in my Taco the difference in gas mileage was not bad at all...so long as you could manage to keep from temptation and bury your foot in it

I agree with you on that. You might get a used one for that price three or four years from now and you'll have to do it yourself. I remember I wanted to purchase a TRD supercharger for my Camry V6 back in 95 and it cost almost 4k installed back then!
