No but I was really disappointed when Toyota didn't come up with a factory spray on as did Nissan with the Titan. I thought that was the best (along with the channel tie downs that everyone is emulating now) engineering I've seen in decades.
I'm thinking on getting a spray on bed liner for my 2007 DC. What do you all think on "Line-X"? It looks pretty tough to me. Any experience here?
Thanks....virg
I was considering a spray on bed liner but ended up purchasing a Bedrug liner. I am glad I did. It has many advantages. It's not permanent so you can remove it if you wish when you sell or trade your truck. It makes your truck bed flat and helps keeps things from sliding around in the bed. It's easy to install yourself and is less expensive than a spay on liner. Goolge Bedrug for more information.
Went with the "Line-X" spray on bed liner. The installer did a great job and I'm very satisfied with it. I did have a carpet liner in a previous truck and when I went to sell it after ten years, the bed underneath was a mass of rust. Soooo....I decided on the spray on job this time. About two mm thick all around and dead even.

I have one of those as well, works great.
As for spray ins I had one in my last Silverado, it looked great and took a beating.

Was the carpet liner a Bedrug or another brand? You are the first person that I heard of with that problem. I've seen where people with drop-in liners had problems with the paint underneath them. 10 years is a long time. It's easy to remove the Bedrug and check from time to time to look for things like rusting.
Bedrug is a decent product for light to moderate use. It will look nicer/last longer if you have tonneau cover. Downside is that is only comes in gray.
LINE-X with Xtra (prevents fading, fortified with Dupont Kevlar) is a very good product. Lifetime warranty and available in any color.
Just make sure they don't have some college kid doing the spraying....my local dealer recommended this place near me that "does all their liners in the new trucks". Well apparently he pays more attention to what the hell he's doing when he does their's, because he scratched the sides of my bed with the air hose while doing mine. Not to mention they ran out of tape while taping the tie down rails, that they couldn't seem to remove, so it took them double the normal time. Was so pissed when I saw the scratches after waiting 5 hours for what was said to take only 2, that I just left. I reported back to the dealer the poor job that they did, and how they scratching my brand new $45K truck.
Short story, watch them as they do it, and if you have any doubts about the quality of the individual doing it....go somewhere else!
Truth be known, I don't know the brand of the rug, came with the truck from the dealer. Not knowing the possibility of the rust potential, I never checked underneath it. Lucky for me, the person who bought the truck from me didn't care. He said it was going to be a work truck and he'd just throw a piece of half inch marine plywood over it.
I've got the spray in box liner done from the dealer when i bought mine, did a great job with the install. Been over a year and haven't had any problems yet and i've pulled everything from engines to transmissions to 700 pound axles in the back of it. So for the spray in liner.
Bullet proof, maybe not but if you do a search there's lots of video out there that shows its pretty much boom proof . My favorites the one ware they blow up the two truck beds, one lined and one not.
LINE-X actually has about 20 or so products. The bedliner product, called XS-100, is not the same as the bomb mitigation product called XS-350 (also known as Paxcon). If you would like to see Paxcon in "action", go to www.paxcon.com
Hey toyota does do spray on bed liners. We have it on our Toyota Tundra. We have the 08 model and we even have a bed cover and they sprayed it on for us in about 15 minutes. We just brought it in and they did it. It is a lot more convenient cause we can just throw whatever we want in the back and not worry about scratching the paint and later having rust.
