Just wondering if anyone else finds this. It seems when I'm traveling at around 60 mph and I press the accelerator to the floor, I feel an immense force on my body and vehicles around me seem to start moving backwards at a tremendous rate. I'm not quite sure what to do about this.

Related to this topic.........I have a 5.7 Crewmax 2WD - I want to do at least one 'burn out' just to see what the engine is capable of.
I have tried and can not do it - I have floored it, takes off like bat out of hell, but no burn out. Yes I have tried turning off both VSC and Trac Control System per owners manual. What am I doing wrong - will she lay down a patch of rubber?

Try all of the above holding down the brakes for 5 seconds then let off once you get smoke and spin.

That is really a terrible problem. Almost the exact same reaction when I test drove the Tundra a few weeks back. I think I might keep my Tacoma and just go back to get the Tundra as well. Decisions, decisions...

Solution is simple. Try driving next to me sometime.

I'm so happy for you vmax, I'm guessing from this quote you must have finally traded that rock in for a Tundra. Good on ya.

I actually did find a temporary solution to this problem last month in the form of 2 speeding tickets in 1 week. Luckily I did talk the justice of the peace from a total of $550 and 7 points down to a total of $220 and 3 points. As soon as I mentioned the Tundra he was like "with 381hp hauling you down the road, how could anyone expect you not to speed?" Trying to take it easy.............for now!!
