Power Socket

Not sure how to ask this, so I hope someone understands

Bought a Tundra Limited, Crew Max 4x4 a few weeks ago This is my first Tundra and I must say so far it is great!!

My question is this. I have a portable dvd player in the back for the kids. It is plugged into the power socket on the back of the arm rest. Now the power stays on even when you turn the truck off which is great for me But, when you start the truck back up, the power socket powers off for a split second and then back on. I tried all the sockets in the truck and they are all the same. Now I am sure this is supposed to be this way, but is there a way I can keep the power on all the time. As silly as this sounds, when ever I turn the truck off and then start it back up, I have to reset the movie on the player. Bought one of those cheap players that doesn't have any memory. If anyone knows a way to bypass this, I would appreciate it Thanks
