Pig Tail in Glove Box, new Tundra?

I'm going to buy a new travel trailer and need to get set up with a brake controller. Could that pig tail with the wires hanging out that they give you with the truck be what is needed to hook up the brake controller? I have the tow package on my truck.

That is what it is for. Some brake controllers can be ordered with a vehicle specific adapter so you don't have to splice or make connections. If your controller does not, then you can use the one you described.

Ditto that. The pigtail that came with my 2007 SR5 +tow package plugs directly into a Tekonsha Prodigy controller. The stub for the controller wiring harness is underneath the driver's kick plate. If your truck has a center console, the slot between the lighter and the power point holds a Prodigy pocket mount perfectly.
