Need help with theft deterrent light.

I was installing my FM direct connect adapter for my Sirius radio and now that I am done hooking everything up my theft deterrent light is blinking when the keys are not in the ignition (its the red light with a key inside a car next to the clock and passenger seatbelt indicator). Is there anyway to turn it off?

That is normal, it means the system is not detecting a correct key transponder in the ignition system when the key is pulled out. It should go off when the correct key is placed in the ignition lock cylinder and the system is receiving the correct transponder code.
