Calling all Tundra owners

Have an 07 Dbl. Cab. Mediated twice to no luck. Has anybody had a clunking sound at stop and start. And get a random rear end feeling when stopped at a light or stop sign. Toyota has admitted that it happens in my truck but claims there is no fix. How many more are there out here.

07
5.7 Lt
Sport Appearance
4.10 rear end.

Sounds like drive train wind up, aka axle wrap. My Tundra has it as did my last Tacoma. Feels like a little "thud" when you stop and when you go...happens sporatically for me.

Sounds like this TSB:

TSB Number:TSB-0115-08
Toyota: rear driveshaft/propeller shaft clunk/thunk noise. Some owners of 4wd equipped 2007-2008 model year tundra vehicles may experience a clunk/thunk noise from the rear of the vehicle or a bump-from behind sensation

Here is a web site list of TSB's

Thank you

Toyota said that was it was drive shaft wrap, but than said it was not after they replaced the Drive shaft. I'm not happy to hear there are others with this issue. Toyota said this is not a normal problem so I believe they could fix it if they wanted to. When they were asked if this was a normal problem they said no three different times. Well if it's not normal than there are trucks that do and trucks that don't. So what is the difference? Thank you again for your replies.

The TSB is for a 4WD only. Ask them to grease the slip yoke that slides into the tail shaft of the trans. I had my rear drive shaft replaced also and this problem returned. I greased up the slip yoke and am a happy camper again. Im a technician (not for Toyota).
