BFG AT KO's

Just hit 39000 miles and noticed the stock tires were getting pretty worn, at least to the point where I could use it as an excuse to finally get the new BFG'S. Put on the 285 65 18 BFG AT KO's. Absolutely love them so far. Definitely more of a truck ride now but I like it. These look much meaner than the stock ones and I can't wait to try out the traction difference, although I didn't thick the stock ones were that bad, just bad at wearing. From what Iv'e read, the AT KO's are one of the best all around tires for this truck, anybody find any other tire that they had good luck with?

I had AT-KOs my first 20K miles with my 07 Tundra. I found they were great initially except on snow and ice, where their traction was terrible. After 20K miles they were half worn and had noticably less grip on other surfaces.

For the 25K miles since I have been running Toyo ATs. About 1/4 worn after 25K miles with no loss in traction. I would definitely buy the Toyos again, but not the BFGs.

If I ever wear the Toyos out I might try Nittos, as they recently released a 295/70/18 which should be a good fit on the stock wheels. The initial reports on this tire have been quite good too.
