Bought my first brand new Toyota
Drove down to Anchorage, Alaska from Fairbanks and bought an 09 Tundra TRD CrewMax SR5 last weekend. I turned around the next day and drove back home to Fairbanks enjoying 340 miles of the Denali-Parks Highway throgh some of the most beautiful country on the earth.
Ran into a good snow storm in the mountains and got to try out the 4wd early this year.
I was also pleasantly surprised at the gas mileage which was 17 to 19 during break-in and has upped to 22 on the highway
I already love this truck. I traded in my 2006 GMC Sierra crew cab for it, which only had 42K on it and was already falling apart on me. Alaska is tough on trucks. We'll see if the Tundra makes the grade.
