07^ Towing Hitch Question

I bought a 2007 Tundra lifted 6" with 35s.

What kind of tow hitch ball would i need, to order to pull a boat or anything....

Meaning, a 2" or 4" Ball Drop Ball Hitch? To balance it out...

Thanks

The real factor to determine is the height of the trailer that you'll most likely be pulling. Measure the top of the ball flange from the ground, with the trailer level and even (make sense?) That will be the height you want the top of the ball coming off the truck hitch. If you have rear end sag from heavy tongue weight, you'll have to factor that in.

On my boat it calls for the top of the ball to be between 18 1/2 to 21 inches. Stock Tundra- 2in drop
You need to have the trailer as close to level as possible when towing.

I am buying one of these. You can buy them in various sizes. I opted for 6" which gives you about 1' of travel up or down. I got the dual ball 2" and 2 5/16". One of the best features is it flips around under the receiver when not in use. I'm not sure where you live but here they are really cracking down on people that leave their receivers in place when not in use.
I would suggest buying a lockable pin though otherwise you might not own it for very long.

I'm glad to hear it. I showed this unit to all my truck buddies and none of them had ever seen it before so I was sort of taking a chance buying it without any references. I had to order mine, hopefully here today.
