column shift lever

I am wanting to buy a 07 or 08 Tundra, double cab, 5.7 motor with column shift.

Does anyone know what the correct term for the front seat that gives you the column shift?

on autotrader, I have use split bench seat, but 2/3's of the vehicles it list have the console shift.

so for, the trucks that do have the column shift, i have not found a seating term that is common among them.

I even tried asking for a double cab, 6 passenger, but got nothing.

It does appear that most trucks with the 5.7 motor have a console shift.

I believe it is the 40/20/40 bench seat. I personally have one, it is pretty cool to have a sixth seat and it folds up real nice as an armrest/cupholder.

Thanks for your reply, I will request 40/20/40 seats and see if I get any targets.

It may not be possible to have autotrader only list column shift vehicles, but it would made it easier to search, rather than have to open each one and look for the seating to determine the shifter placement.

I am a taller dude and like the comfort of not having the console, plus if necessary can carry 6 pass in a double cab.

^^Cool, good luck. I have three kids and a wife so the truck is at it's limit without that seat, I use it frequently. Funny my Tundra seats more than my 4Runner does, lol.
