2009 vs 2010 Tundra Crewmax

Hey guys and gals. I currently own a 07 Tacoma that I am thinking about trading in on a new Tundra Crewmax LTD. I have a chance at saving $7000 on an 09 that is a dealer demo or buying a new 2010. What are your thoughts on the 09 vs the 2010.

Thanks in advance

$7000 is alot of money off. I'd even consider getting the 4.7 (09) at that price.

Good luck man!

The 2010's have some nice features, but I don't know about being $7K worth. Personally I'd be worried about buying a dealer demo.

Yeh, usually dealer DEMO's were used as rentals for customers .

Who cares if it is a demo or rental. You are saving a ton and if they offer a good warranty you are getting a steal.

I bought an 07 4.7 when they first came out and traded it back in for a 2008 5.7(at a big loss) but it was worth it because the 4.7 got less gas mileage and just didn't have enough hp. to tow my boat very well. The new ger. tundra weighs a lot more than the first gen. so I couldn't even keep up with my buddy in his older 2005 Tundra. I LOVE my new truck with it's 6 speed trans. and loads of power and only wish that I hadn't wasted money trying to save money. Get the best and you won't wish you had latter. PS. rentals can't be trusted, they are the most abused vehicles out there.

If you're asking what the differences are between 2009 and 2010 here's what I can think of off the top of my head

2010 has:

- Adjustable headlights
- Different tail lights
- Different grille
- Knee air bags
- Back up Camera (if equipped) is now integrated in the rear view mirror rather than the flip down/bezel type
- Slightly different floor profile (if you were to install weathertech floor mats for an 07-09 they wouldn't fit exactly right..and proper mats won't be available for a couple of months yet)

that's all I can think of right now..hope it helps!
