2009 Tundra Power Lock Problem

I bought a new 09 Tundra in May direct from dealer with 100 miles on it. I live in the Northeast and when it started to get cold a very strange condition developed in my power locks. Only when its cold and usually the first startup of the day when I attempt to enter the truck via remote I get a problem. Push the unlock button once and drivers door will open, push that button two times to get all doors to unlock and all doors lock. So orginally I thought I had a problem with my remote. Then a new issue if I push the unlock button on the door panel itself the locks will being flipping back and forth continually. The only way I can stop this is to start the truck and place it in drive and back to park to stop it. Strange stuff. So I video taped the whole thing and took it to the dealer. Upon first inspection the locks did their malfunction for them once, of course no trouble code came out of computer. Service manager said it must be the ECM or electronic control module I expect. They replaced that and told me to pick it up. Well today I went to get it and same problem. Service manager is scratching his head. Stated he took door panel apart to inspect all connections and found no problems. States he has to contact some of the engineers who build wiring system. Just wondering anyone with a similar problem or any ideas out there. Truck is still under warranty.

Thanks Mike

Wow, that is an odd one. I haven't had any issues with my door locks. If/when they get to the bottom of it post your findings.

sounds like one of the locks isn't fully unlocking on the first "hit", so the truck is constantly trying to unlock that one door.

Update

Ok, so now we are up to 5 trips to the dealer and still no resolution. The regional engineer came to the dealer the other day and stated it must be the door control module that is making the door think its not closed. So they changed that and they have already changed the electronic control module for the locking system. So I got a call from the service writer who told me your never going to believe this but both of those parts we have changed is not the problem and it actually is a problem with the drivers door acuator. So he says we fixed that come on up to pick it up. So drove back up there and guess what still not fixed. Needless to say I was really pissed off, I had them contact the service manager at home on a Sat nite to tell them that yet again they did not solve the problem. I understand that this Monday they are going to take another whack at it. I will let you all know whats up when I find out

Cripes! What an annoyance. You gotta love these new vehicles with all the electronics. The best part is having all these internal diagnostics that don't seem to help. They end up just guessing and changing out parts to try to fix it. I feel your frustration, I've got my own battle going on my truck.
